Inbox Repair Tool is a free inbuilt utility of Microsoft Outlook, which is used to repair and restore damaged or corrupted Outlook PST file. When you run the tool, it performs a detail scan of your PST file and reports any error it found. The scanpst.exe (Inbox repair tool) utility also advises you to create a backup copy of the file which is necessary to prevent further damage.
